A bedroom can be all linen and oak and still fall flat the moment you switch on a harsh lamp. Grain™ fixes the light itself. Its base is a thick cylinder of solid wood, turned on a lathe and washed white so the grain still shows through — and above it, a plain linen drum shade takes whatever bulb you give it and spreads it into one even, fabric-soft glow. No hotspots, no glare off the wall, just the kind of light linen bedding was made to sit in. Two sizes: a 38 cm lamp for the nightstand, a 58 cm lamp for the console or living room.

Care

Dust the wood and stem with a dry cloth. The shade cleans with a lint roller or a light vacuum on low. Unplug before cleaning or changing the bulb.

No — Grain™ takes any standard E27 bulb, so you can pick your own. We recommend a warm 2700 K LED for the softest linen glow.
What's the difference between the sizes?
Small is a Ø 22 cm shade at 38 cm tall — a nightstand lamp. Large is a Ø 30 cm shade at 58 cm tall — right for a console, dresser or living-room corner. Same wood, same linen.
Will the wood look exactly like the photos?
Close, never identical. The base is solid wood under a thin whitewash, so grain and small knots vary lamp to lamp — that's the material, not a flaw.
How does it switch on?
It plugs into the wall, with a switch on the cord within easy reach — one press at the nightstand and the linen lights up.
Does it work with my voltage?
Yes — the socket runs on anything from 85 to 265 V, so it's at home in the US, UK, EU and beyond.
How is it protected in shipping?
