Remove the cover via the zipper on the bottom. Machine wash the cover in cold water on a gentle cycle using mild, fragrance-free detergent. Air dry flat or tumble dry on low heat. The dual-density memory foam core should never be washed; spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Allow the core to air out monthly by removing the cover and placing in a well-ventilated area (avoid direct sunlight, which can degrade the foam). For optimal hygiene, wash the cover every 2-3 weeks, especially if using daily in an office or car. The non-slip rubber base can be wiped clean with a damp cloth—do not submerge in water. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. The cushion may have a slight foam odor when new; air it out for 24-48 hours before first use. Do not fold or compress the cushion for extended periods, as this can affect the contoured shape and coccyx cutout structure. If the cushion loses its shape or support over time (typically after 2-3 years of daily use), it should be replaced—flattened foam won't provide adequate coccyx relief or posture support.

Coccyx Cutout: Precision-engineered U-shaped cutout (4 inches wide, 5 inches deep) that completely suspends the tailbone, eliminating all direct pressure on the coccyx. The cutout dimensions are optimized based on anatomical research to accommodate 95% of body types while maintaining the cushion's structural integrity. The edges of the cutout are smooth and rounded to prevent pressure points.
